Dove-head Army Sword by Klaas

The Klaas firm was famous for their hand enhanced details especially on early ones like this! The 33" blade on this one rates Exc++. There is some scuffs and small marks but over all very nice with good plating. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The blade is nicely marked. This one is illustrated in Angolia reference pg 102 and referenced as catalogue # 233. The black enamel repainted scabbard shows minor wear. It is not dented. The scabbard throat is secured by two dome head screws. The hilt and P-guard are beautifully detailed hand chiselled brass with honest wear to the high areas. The languet features an open winged hand enhanced eagle. The black celluloid grip is in perfect condition! Three twisted wires remain intact and tightly secured.
