SS NCO Degan. The blade on this one has age and deep pitting. I'm tempted to sand this out but I'm leaving this as it landed. The end needs to be retipped. The 31.5" blade rates poor. A leather buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel repainted scabbard has a few small hits. The paint coverage remains better than 98% showing normal wear. The upper SS proofed scabbard fitting has nicely patinaed, remaining secured with two unturned dome head screws. There are a couple scuffs to the paint and some spots of oxidization but that's it. The runners are missing and the blade rattles around in there so some new runners would do wonder here. The plated hilt has even patina and much plating loss. The grip has heavy wear but no chips or splits. The cast ferrule is nicely detailed with handwork throughout. The pommel nut has the correct SS cast runes in place. Perhaps a project piece.
