Heer Koppelschloß, introduced in 1937. It is constructed of two pieces of die stamped aluminum. The obverse roundel depicts a closed winged Heer eagle griping a mobile swastika in its talons on a textured round background. The eagle is above a half oak leaf and acorn wreath that is tied together at the bottom and is underneath the Heer motto reading: “Gott Mit Uns” (God with us). The wreath and motto are both in front of a decorative lined type pattern background which is encircled by two twisted ropes. The separate roundel lies on a pebbled rectangular backing. The reverse shows an integral catch and pin/post sleeve assembly that remain in great condition! It's marked OLC in a diamond. That leather tab is well worn and marked 1936. Most of the stitching is worn away. It measures 2 7/16 inch wide by 1 7/8 inches high. The buckle shows gorgeous silver wash and detail! The belt has an aluminum catch. It has lots of wear and a cut half way through.
