SG-98/05nA Sawback Butcher Bayonet by Henckels
The 14" blade is a period saw-back example. The blade has age but still nice and bright. The reverse is stamped with the Henckels maker mark and distributor mark, Frister & Rossman. The blade rates Exc+. It does have some age gray and few scuffs but no sharpening. The anodized scabbard has light wear and a few small hits and bumps. It remains dark. The throat retaining screw remains intact and unturned. The grooved hardwood grip plates are damage free. They are secured with spanner bolts. Nice find one with the sawback still intact, many had the sawback ground off in the period.
