M42 NS66 SD Luftwaffe Helmet
Luftwaffe Stahlhelm. Combat worn NS66. The undented, stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains 90% of its' matte factory paint and an excellent decal. It is painted with textured dark blue paint with honest wear and scuffs. There is some patina and minor surface oxidation but no dents. The reverse of the interior of the shell is stamped "NS66" and lot numbered, "D340", indicating manufacture by Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, AG. Schwerte, size 66. The size 59 line shows wear to the edges. Some of the fingers show damage. The steel liner band and the felt remain. All the rivets are intact.
