Medium State Service Flag
Reichsdienstflagge. A medium State Service flag. This flag is constructed out of red, white and black printed cotton material. The rectangular shaped obverse has a centrally placed roundel of a static black swastika on a white base, the top left hand side is a black and white national eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons. The reverse is a mirror of the obverse. The hoist end has 3 reinforced snaps for munting. The fly end of the flag has been folded over and sewn. I suspect this one was intended to be hung in a government building. It has minor soil, a fray just above the bird and a some wee holes. It measures approximately 95" long by 60" wide. very nice example.
