Transitional Eickhorn NSKK Dagger
1933 Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch by RZM M7/66 (Carl Eickhorn of Solingen). The blade on this one has age, sharpening and stain. The dark acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/66 1939 Eickhorn Solingen" maker marks are all still quite clear. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point. The blade measures the full 220 mm. The blade rates an Exc. The black painted scabbard has age crazing and scratches. It is dent free! The plated fittings look excellent being patinaed to match the hilt. The ball has is undented. Four screws remain. The scabbard / crossguard fit is good and closes with a snap! The plated crossguards shown minor lifting towards the wood. The patina matches throughout. The beep brown hardwood grip is practically perfect!! No chips or cracks. The aluminum eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit and no oxidation. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 99% of its enamel. Included is a RZM black NSKK hanger.
