Army Dagger by Alcoso
Model 1935 Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by Alcoso – Alexander Coppel of Solingen. The blade on this one has age gray and minor stain. It sports the last Alcoso trademark. I have not cleaned it. The fit is nice and tight. The blade rates Exc/Exc+. The large brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel plated Alcoso scabbard has a few small hits to the lower section, one to the reverse and two to the obverse. It provides nice detail with random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! The throat retaining screws are untouched. The Alcoso type III eagle crossguard provides good detail throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath, beak and chest. The matching pommel is textbook Alcoso. The deep orange trylon grip on this one is near perfect with no chips or cracks. Nice all matching Alcoso.
