Imperial Bavarian Etched Infantry Sword
The Imperial WKC "Knight's head" marked 32" blade on this piece looks good. There is some age but certainly Exc++. The etch is crisp and well done. The tip is perfect. The red felt buffer pad remains. The plated scabbard has a dent 2" sound of the throat. there is some plating loss. The brass hilt is in fine shape with minor age. The sharkskin grip remains in good shape retaining 3 brass wires tightly. The tang is correctly peened over at the top of the hilt. included is a portepee and hangers, ( the hanger lower clip has a broke spring.
