A beautifully matching Model 1935 Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by Alcoso – Alexander Coppel of Solingen. The blade on this one is stone mint. The acid etched “Alcoso ACS Solingen” maker mark is nicely executed! The original large leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands. There is one spot of oxidation to the reverse. Look at that matching patina! Both original throat retaining screws remain intact. The silver plated 3rd generation Alcoso eagle crossguard provides nice detail throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath and chest. 90% of the plating remains with a bit of oxidation to the reverse. The Alcoso pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns that are easily visible through the back burnishing. Grip is unchipped or cracked celluloid over plaster. Included is a crispy set of hangers that this arrived from the Vet's family with. Nice to keep this al together.
