Ground Rohm SA Dagger by E.P. & S.
A Model 1934 - Sturmabteilung Ehrendolch by Ernst Pack & Sohne of Solingen. The blade on this one is exceptional! The dark and crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "E.P. & S. Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The "In herzlicher freundshaft Ernst Rohm" inscription has been factory removed. The crossgrain is also quite attractive and can be seen the full length of the blade. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates a solid NM! It shows the common surface scratches throughout along with the slightest spotting. The steel based, brown repainted scabbard is also beautiful! It continues to remain completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great matching the crossguards in color and age patina. The ball retains a nice round shape and all four screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Nrh" (Niederrhein). The dark brown multi-toned grained hardwood grip looks wonderful! There is the common pressure marks throughout yet no cracks, flakes or chips! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit! The toned SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. A wonderful example of an early Ground Rohm SA dagger! Add this one to your collection today!
