Kriegsmarine Brustadler. It is constructed out of twisted, rolled and straight machine embroidered yellow cotton and rayon thread to a navy-blue wool and light blue cotton backing. The obverse depicts a Kreigsmarine eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons, above a blue backing. The reverse shows yellow thread along with the cloth backing and traces of its original lacquered paper backing. It measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 1 11/16 inches tall.
