Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by B&A - Bolte & Anschutz of Solingen. These were sold without scabbards. The blade on this one looks good. The acid etched “Alles fur Deutschland” motto and “B & A Solingen” maker mark are dark crisp and beautifully executed. The “Germany” export stamp is also perfectly executed. The crossgrain is easily visible all the way from the hilt to the tip. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates Exc++. It shows heavy age grey. The aluminum based crossguards and pommel nut are in perfect condition. The brown plastic grip is also in perfect condition. The WWII period aluminum eagle retains beautiful details. The WWII period SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel.

Early Post-War: Several German dagger and award manufacturers continued production after the war. Most customers for these badges and daggers were Allied soldiers who wanted to take home souvenirs after the war, as well as German veterans. Bolte & Anschutz made daggers post-war as early as the late 1940’s. Production of these items was welcomed in post-war Germany.
