Packet for a 2nd Class Iron Cross by Jacob Bengel

Papiertüte für und Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse 1939 by Jacob Bengel of Obderstein. It is constructed out of blue paper that has been folded and glued together with black ink script. The obverse reads: “Eisernen Kreuz 2. Klasse 1939” (2nd Class Iron Cross 1939). The reverse shows a slit for the triangular flap to the very top. It is also marked: “Jacob Bengel Obderstein” (within a rectangular border). The top flap is 60% held intact. It measures 4 1/16 inches wide by 5 1/8 inches tall.
