Japan, WWII - Army Officer’s Maps and Documents Case. It is constructed out of a high quality brown tanned leather base that has been stitched together. The front features a pressed IJA star to the top flap. The exterior shows decorative pressed line throughout. The front and back steel closure buttons continue to work well. Both undersides of the flaps are marked. There are three interior pockets. The top middle right side stitch has come lose about one inch. Comes complete with green webbed canvas shoulder strap, that is well marked and has well working clips. The case measures 10 inches tall by 9 inches wide by 4 inches thick.
