Dutch - SS-BL Supporter Pin
Neatherlands, WWII - Germaanich / Nederlandsche SS Begunstigende Lende Mitgliedabzeichen. Handed out to paying members of the Germaansche SS Begunstigende Leden. It is constructed out of a die stamped nickel-silver base that has been silver washed and contains black enamel work. The oval shaped obverse features a centrally placed “SS” runes in front of a mobile swastika, flanked by “B” (bottom-left) and “L” (bottom-right) all on a black base surrounded by a pebbled border. The fullback reveres is numbered: “B 1513” and has a soldered-on oval plate pin assembly that remains in well working condition. It measures ¾ of an inch by 9/16 inches tall. Rarer than the stickpin variant.
