Personalized - Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by WKC of Solingen. The blade on this one looks excellent. The acid etched knights head “WKC Solingen” maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed. The crossgrain looks excellent, running the full length of the blade, easily visible as you shine it in the light. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates an easy Exc++/NM. It shows some spotting and scratches throughout. The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands. It remains completely dent free and retains a great deal of its original fatory lacquer. The original side throat retaining screw remains intact. The WKC “Tomahawk” crossguard is zinc-alloy based and nickel-silver plated. Beautiful crisp details throughout the eagle. The reverse is period jeweler personalized reading: “Ehresmann”. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The orange trylon based grip on this one is looks wonderful and is pleasantly aged. The silver has all gorgeous matching patina throughout. Textbook configuration with a wonderful personalization.
