Prussia - 75 Years Infantry Reg. 32 Medal 1890

Medaille für 75 Jähr Stiftungs fest des 2 Thüring. Infant. Regts. No 32, 5. Juni 1890. It is constructed out of a die stamped bronze base that has been silver washed. The round shaped obverse features the right facing bust of King Wilhelm II surrounded by “Wilhelm II Deutscher Kaiser Konig v. Preussen”. The reverse features Wilhelm’s crowned cypher, flanked by “1813” (left) and “1890” (right), and is above “32”, all of which is surrounded by: “Meiningen Cassel 5. Juni 1890” and again surrounded by: “75 Jähr Stiftungs fest des 2 Thüring. Infant. Regts. No 32”. To the top is an integral loop and ring which holds some white and black silk rayon ribbon. The award measures 1 3/16 inches in diameter.
