SA Sport and Military Competitions Tinnie 1937
Abzeichen für das Sport U. Wehrwettkämpfe SA-Gruppe Niederrhein 1937. It is constructed out of a die stamped steel base that has been silver washed and chemically blackened. The obverse features a large SA emblem with “Sport u. Wehr Wettkämpfe” arched to the top, that is in front of an upright broad sword that reads: “1937 SA-Gruppe 24.25 Juli Niederrhein” to the crossguard and has a swastika on its grip, which is all in front of/flanked by an oak leaf wreath and the Rine river and industrial setting. The hollow back reverse features a vertically soldered-on steel pin assembly that remains in well working condition. It measures 1 13/16 inches wide by 2 7/16 inches tall.
