SA Sport and Military Competitions Tinnie 1938

Abzeichen für das Sport U. Wehrwettkämpfe SA-Gruppe Niederrhein Duisburg 10.-12. Juni 1938. It is constructed out of a die stamped steel base that has been silver washed. The ovasl shaped obverse features an SA man, in uniform, holding a large shield in front of him which reads: “Wettkämpfe SA Gruppe Niederrhein 10.-12. Juni 1938 Duisburg” and has an SA emblem to the bottom, and the man is surrounded by and oak leaf a ribbon wreath. The hollow back reverse features a vertically soldered-on tombak pin assembly that remains in well working condition. It measures 1 3/8 inches wide by 1 15/16 inches tall.
