SS Sport Shirt Insignia
SS Sportshemd Abzeichen. Introduced in May 1934. It is constructed out of rayon base with machine woven white and black cotton thread. The round obverse features the black “SS” runes on a white backing and surrounded by a black, white and another black border. The white rayon edges have been folded over and stitched together with black stitching. The reverse features the opposite black and white colors. It measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter.
