SA Dagger by RZM M7/68 1941
Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/68 1941 – Tiger, Lauterjung & Co. of Solingen. The blade on this one is a looks excellent. The acid etched “Alles fur Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/68 1941” maker mark are both beautifully executed. The crossgrain is stunning and easily visible as you shine it in the light. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates Exc++/NM. It shows age spotting throughout and it shows the typical runner marks throughout. The sheet metal based brown enamel painted scabbard is in wonderful condition. It has the odd scratch yet holds 97%+ coverage and remains completely dent free. The steel-based nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look wonderful. The ball is perfect and all four screws remain intact. The zinc-based nickel-silver crossguards look good. It shows some plating loss towards the grip. The brown hardwood grip looks wonderful. No cracks, chips or bumps. It has one pressure mark scratch just above the eagle. The solid aluminum eagle shows minor oxidization and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. A nice example by a desirable maker.
