Post-War Made - Lapplandschild. Instituted February 1945, the Lapland Campaign Shield was awarded for actions against Allied forces in Northern Norway. It was the last officially instituted German campaign shield of the war, it had been noted in military pay book in March 1945, presentation only began in July 1945 and they have been found ground dug. Made of cast lead. It measures 1 5/8 inches wide by 2 5/8 inches tall.
