Kriegsmarine Lederjacke für Oberleutnant. It is constructed out of a tailor-made heavy high-grade black leather exterior and thick wool interior. It has a single breast pocket and two hip pockets, each with straight flaps. It is double breasted with two rows of five fouled anchor multi-piece button (OLC marked to the underside), each row is below a black bakelite button which is under the large collar. The cuffs each have two smaller fouled anchor multi-piece buttons with button-down adjustment straps. The shoulders each feature a Oberleutnant board, with single pip, that are stitched-on and fastened to the other ends with a smaller button. The interior is lined in a thick quality wool. It has four areas of repairs. There is a single interior breast pocket, four black bakelite buttons in a row and a “RBNr.” tag to the spine. The armpits are properly vented, each with a stitched-on leather loop. Typical age to the neck. Measurements: shoulder to shoulder is 18 ½ inches long, a sleeve length of 24 ½ inches long and a 29 ½ inch spine length. Overall, a very well-preserved example with insignia!
