1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Pack
1st Model (1934/35) Airforce Dagger (Luftwaffe Fliegerdolch) by E. Pack. The Pack etched maker mark is nicely executed though lightened somewhat from cleaning. The blade has some scuffs and wear from the runners. It retains its original blue pebbled buffer pad. The later blue, pebbled leather covered scabbard looks has some rubs and all the leather remains. The matte aluminum scabbard fittings show light wear. The screws remain. The chain is lost to time. The aluminum crossguard has an inserted brass swas, very typical of Pack. The crossguard has inserted brass sun wheel swastika. The pommel is nickel based. The blue leather grip sports a triple aluminum wire wrap. It suffers a few scuffs. Sorry no chain.
