Luftwaffe Koppelschloß. A nice bright piece here! The two-piece buckle is constructed out of a die struck aluminum base that has been silver washed. The obverse features a centrally placed Luftwaffe open winged eagle clutching a swastika in one of its talons, on a pebbled background, that is all encircled by a laurel leaf and berry wreath that is tied together at the bottom, which then all lies on a pebbled rectangle background. The aluminum prongs and integral catch remain in excellent condition. All four prongs that hold the roundel remain intact. The buckle is in good condition with good detail and superb silver wash. There is light wear to the high areas. A great piece worthy of anyone's collection!
