Army Dagger by Eickhorn with Hangers

A Model 1935 Heer Dolch from Vet's family. Here we have a completely correct 4th pattern Eickhorn Model 1935 Army Dagger. The blade on this one has good crossgrain but must have been put away wet as it has stain and pitting I'm going to just leave alone. . The etched “Original Eickhorn Solingen” manufacturers mark is crisp and beautifully executed! The tip and fit are perfect and it's never been apart. The blade rates Exc. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based silver plated scabbard is gorgeous with wonderful age patina. It provides good detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free and the original throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. If you shake it alone without the blade the lead weight is a bit loose. The zinc-alloy based 4th pattern silver plated crossguard provides beautiful detail. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The yellow/orange trylon grip on this one is crack-free, there is a tiny chip to reverse most would never find. Included are the Army hangers this arrived with. One clip has been period replaced.
