Leather-Tabs - Super Deluxe M1937 Luftwaffen Dolchgehänge. The back connector clip, buckles, bands and clips are all constructed out of an injection molded zinc alloy base that have been airplane gold finished and lacquered. They all depict oak leaves and acorns throughout. The grommets and the prongs are steel based. The reverse of the bottom clips are marked “D.R.G.M.” and the reverse of the back connector is marked “D.R.G.M. UE 10 RZM”. All of these components are held together with two straps. The straps are constructed out of a cotton base that is covered in a blue-grey felt material (reverse) and a patterned cotton, rayon and aluminum flat-wire stitching (obverse). The top of the straps have leather tabs that have been folded over the back connector and stitched to the straps. The reverse of the top strap, just below the tab it is worn. All of the clips continue to work well. Overall, a beautiful and desirable set.
