2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Puma

A M1937 Fliegerdolch by Puma of Solingen. The blade on this one is really very nice. Looks like a wee bit of old fingerprint stain. Certainly Exc++. Nice large black maker mark. As with most Pumas this one employs generic fittings. The dent-free scabbard is an airplane grey example with lots of wear as most of the plating is worn. The throat is secured by unturned screws. The crossguard and pommel are have nice burnish. This really sets off the celluloid grip. The deep orange grip is near perfect with no chips or cracks. The twisted springy wire wrap remains nice and tight. This comes with the set of deluxe hangers it arrived with from the Vet's family. Never been cleaned. They are well worn with frays but still serviceable. This entire this has a lovely nicotine patina.
