Here we have the horizontal version of the 3rd Waffen SS (SchutzStaffel) Panzer Division Totenkopf Collar Tab (Kragenspiegel)! It is constructed out of machine embroidered white cotton stitching to a black wool base that has been folded over and glued to a tan buckrahm base. The parallelogram shaped obverse features the divisional insignia of death head (skull and crossbones), in white, on a black base. The reverse shows reminisce of an RZM SS tag above the buckram base that is bordered in the black wool. It measures approximately 2 inches wide by 1/2 inches tall. A beautiful looking piece!
