1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Puma
1st Model (1934/35) Airforce Dagger (Luftwaffe Fliegerdolch) by Puma of Solingen. The early stamped maker mark is lightly executed. The blade has some scuffs, stain and roughness to the cutting edge. It rates an Exc. It retains its original blue pebbled buffer pad. The blue, pebbled leather covered scabbard it in wonderful shape. About 99.9% leather coverage remains intact. The aluminum scabbard fittings show light wear. The upper and lower fittings are secured with headless screws. The aluminum OLC marked chain is in excellent condition. It has 6 upper ringlets and 9 lower, ending at a well working clip! The aluminum hilt looks good with normal wear. The wood based, blue leather grip sports a triple aluminum wire wrap. It appears to be stained in some areas with old rust. It suffers a few scuffs.
