Model 1933 - Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by Pfeilringwerk of Solingen. The blade on this one shows age and fingerprint stain. Despite that the etching remains clear. The "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and maker mark remain nicely executed. The fit remains nice and tight, this has never been apart. The blade rates VG/Exc. The brown anodized scabbard body is badly dented. It continues to retain 98% of it's anodizing and 80% of it's factory lacquer. The solid nickel scabbard fittings are matching the crossguards in color and wear. The ball is banged in. All four screws continue to remain intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gruppe marked "S", (Schlesien). The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect! The brown grained hardwood grip has the common pressure mark but no chips. The grip / crossguard/grip fits are near perfect and all the patina is matching. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful detail. The SA roundel has aged darkened and suffers some enamel loss, sy retained at 80%.
