2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger

M1937 Fliegerdolch. The plated blade on this one looks wonderful. It has a gorgeous mirror like finish. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. There are a couple nail catchers. The blade on this one rates Exc++. It shows faint sage. The blue pebbled buffer pad remains. The generic steel-based airplane grey plated scabbard looks wonderful. It depicts great details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and two retaining screws remain. The Luftwaffe eagle crossguard has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side embossed oak leaves and acorns. The steel ferrule looks excellent. The pommel is matching. All of the components have matching patina. The tylon grip looks wonderful. The springy type twisted wire wrap remains intact. Overall, a very nice example likely sold through a uniform shop.
