Ski/Mountain Division Cap Badge
Mützen Abzeichen für und Gebirgsjäger / Skijäger-Division. It is constructed out of a die stamped nickel-silver base that has been chemically blackened. The obverse features an edelweiss flower in front of ski poles and skis. The hollow back reverse features a soldered-on well working pin assembly. It measures 1 7/8 inches wide by 3/4 of an inch tall. I can’t quite pin this one down. It came in a veteran’s grouping.
