NSKK Vehicle ID Pennant
Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Fahrzeug Dienst Wimpel. This triangular shaped pennant is constructed out of multiple components including: cotton, leather, string and steel. The obverse features a machine embroidered NSKK national eagle, with out-stretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons, below a bannered ?NSKK? and above a white roundel. The eagle insignia lies on a red cotton field that is surrounded by a black leather boarder. The reverse is the same as the front. The top of the hoist end has a steel well working clip that is attached to a round nickel piece that is secured by a loop in the white sting. The white string runs through the hoist end of the flag and comes out to the bottom. There is 17 inches of string that comes out to the bottom. The clip and string will make it very easy to display! The black leather looks great and it retains nice bright colors. All of the stitching appears to be intact. There are no mothing holes or thread catches. It shows some age discoloration. Nice detail to the eagle! It measures 1 foot long by 6 1/4 inches high.
