SS Dagger by RZM 1052/38

I've previously owned this exact example, and now do again. Here is the original description: Here's a salty SS dagger for you! The blade on this one is definitely the best feature of this piece! The dark and crisp acid etched Meine Ehre heisst Treue motto and "RZM RZM 1052/38 SS" maker mark is beautifully executed! The crossgrain looks stunning against the light, running the full length of the blade. The fit and tip are both perfect! The blade rates a solid Exc++.It shows the common runner marks, three wee spots and a bit of age grey towards the tip. Really it's a nice looking blade! The black enamel painted scabbard has some age crazing and some surface oxidization throughout. It retains 70% of its paint and remains completely dent free! The steel nickel plated fittings retain a nice bright finish. They show some minor plating loss. All four screws remain intact and the ball retains its original round shape. The scabbard/crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The zinc nickel plated crossguards retain 20% of their plating. The black hardwood grip is aged. It shows some flaking, splits and chips. As you know finding a flawless SS grip is really hard to come by. The solid nickel eagle shows some great detail! The SS roundel retains 100% of its enamel. Both are worn. A true SS RZM piece at a great price! If you have a limited budget and are looking for an SS dagger, I wouldn't look elsewhere as this piece will go fast!
