RAD EM/NCO Hewer by Eickhorn
Model 1934 - Reichsarbeitsdiens Haumesser für Mannschaften und Unterführer by Carl Eickhorn of Solingen. Here's a very reasonably priced dagger. The blade has been cleaned/polished hard as someone tried to clean it up. In doing so they buffed out some of the motto. The blade rates an VG/Exc. The scabbard is a mid period example with steel fittings. The screws look to be replacements and one is slightly smaller. There is some age crazing to the original paint and it suffers paint loss and oxidation. The hilt has been polished hard as well and the plating is bright. There is dark oxidation I have not tried to clean. The handle has wonderful stag grips that are in perfect condition!
