Early Voos Hitler Youth Dagger
Wow here's a beauty! The early thin blade on this one rates Exc++. There is minor age grey and just some slight eviodence of sharpening that you could find if you just turn this so in the sun, but the tip is perfect, the fit is nice and tight, the "Blut und Ehre!" motto and maker mark are beautifully executed! The leather buffer pad remains intact. The black painted scabbard scabbard has some age crazing with honest wear. It remains completely dent free! The scabbard leather is in excellent shape! Not rigid at all and the snap works well, as it should. The nickel plated hilt on this one is also in excellent condition! Just a bit of wear where the snap would rest. The black checkered celluloid grip plates are in amazing condition! No cracks, chips or splits. The early small HJ diamond retains all of its enamel and also has a perfect fit.
