RZM M7/80 1197/39SS SS Dagger

The bright blade on this one looks good. The RZM M7/80 1197/39SS maker marks and Meine Ehre heisst Treue motto are beautifully executed! Very dark, just like you want to see them! The tip is slightly bent and the blade / crossguard fit sits just right. The crossgrain is absolutely stunning against the light! The blade rates Exc/Exc+. There is some spotting and age grey throughout. The black period painted scabbard looks great! It remains dent-free with only minor wear. The plated scabbard fittings are bright and in excellent condition. All four screws remain intact and unturned and the ball has a hit and has a small split in it. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect! The plated crossguards look good. They have some minor lifting throughout. All the angles are correct and the grip / crossguard fits are perfect. The black hardwood grip has a few chips. Finding an SS grip with no chips is hard to come by. The aluminum eagle is beautifully detailed and sits perfectly in the grip. The SS roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit. The hit is a tiny bit loose and could use a ? turn to the hut to snug it up but the nut is frozen so I will leave well enough alone. This one also comes with an Assman & D.R.G.M. RZM M5/8 black SS hanger in great condition. The clip spring is broken? there! I just replaced the spring so it's perfect and the leather looks great.
