Early Emil Voos Hitler Youth Dagger
The early, thin, mottoed blade on this one rates Exc+. It remains bright with a perfect tip and solid fit and best of all a nice clear motto! The Solingen (Ges. Gschutzt) Emil Voos maker mark and the ?Blut und Ehre!" motto is beautifully executed! There is some spotting throughout and the cutting edge has been slightly sharpened. The black painted scabbard remains completely dent free! There are a few spots where the scabbard paint has been removed yet its coverage is better than 95%. The black scabbard leather is in great shape! There is some light surface scratching although the two decorative lines look good and the snap functions well! The steel, nickel plated hilt on this one is also in great condition! Almost no plating loss! The black checkered celluloid grip plates are in amazing condition! No cracks, chips or splits. The early small HJ diamond retains all of its enamel and has a perfect fit! A beauty piece to add to your collection!
