A super piece here! The bright blade on this one looks excellent! The crossgrain shines nicely in the light! The dark and crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and diamond shaped ?August Bickel Steinbach - Hallenberg? maker mark are beautifully executed! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates a NM. There is some wee spotting throughout, but that's it. The brown anodized scabbard has a nice finish with honest wear I would say 93% of the anodizing and 80% of the factory lacquer!!!! It remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings and crossguards remain in great shape! They have matching patina and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked ?Mi" (Mitte). The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remaining intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The multi-toned hardwood grip looks great! It shows the common pressure marks throughout. No cracks or splits! The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel! This ones here waiting for you!
