The blade is fairly clean. The fit is nice and tight, and the tip comes to a sharp point. It measures the full 220mm. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and maker mark are beautifully executed! The blade rates Exc/Exc+. It has minor age grey. The scabbard is nicely anodized with some spots of oxidizing to the reverse, there's some minor bruises and it remains dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings are in great condition, with only a few bruises to the bottom fitting! The ball has the slightest bruise and still retains its original round shape! All four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are also in excellent condition matching the scabbard fittings in color and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Ho" to the right corner. The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown hardwood grip has a dark finish and looks good. There are no chips or cracks. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains its enamel!
