The blade on this one has age grey throughout and has been repointed measuring 207mm, that's about 13mm short, the fit is nice and tight and the acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and maker mark are both nice and dark. The blade rates Good. The brown anodized scabbard looks good. It remains completely dent free! The upper scabbard fitting has been period repaired where someone reattached the ring. The lower fitting has no screws and does NOT match in patina. The ball has taken a hit. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "FR". The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown hardwood grip looks fairly good. It has wear and hairlines. The eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. Shoot guys but these things and part 'em out for less on Ebay!!
