The bright blade on this one is in excellent condition! It depicts a beautiful and dark; acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and maker mark! The tip comes to a sharp point and the fit perfectly sits in the crossguard! It has normal runner marks and just traces of age. The blade rates Exc++. The period reddish brown repainted scabbard retains 99% of paint. The scabbard body is dent free. The solid nickel scabbard fittings are in good condition with normal wear and small bruises. The ball is perfect. All of the screws remain intact but they have been turned, most likely when this was repainted. The scabbard / crossguard fit is excellent. The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition as well, matching the scabbard fittings in color and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "S. The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect. The brown hardwood grip is lightly worn and chip and crack-free. The solid nickel eagle is nicely detailed and the SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel!
