A super NSKK here! The blade on this one looks excellent! The crossgrain shines nicely in the light! The black acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and ?Carl Schmidt Sohn A.-G. Solingen? maker mark beautifully contrasts the bright blade! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates an Exc++. There are some spotting dots throughout. The black re-painted scabbard retains 99% of its paint coverage. It remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings and crossguards remain in great shape! They have matching patina and wear. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remaining intact! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked ?S" (Schlesien). The scabbard / crossguard fit is excellent and closes with a snap! The multi-toned hardwood grip looks super! No cracks or splits! The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. A nice NSKK awaiting your collection!
