Here's one that need some love! The blade on this one has stains. The crossgrain still remains visible, the fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and ?Deltawerk? maker mark are both nicely executed! The blade rates VG/Exc. It has spotting, age grey and staining throughout. The dent-free brown anodized scabbard has most of it's finish but has some spotting. The solid nickel scabbard fittings are in good shape with the patina nicely matching. The ball has taken a good hit and one screw is lost. The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition and match the scabbard fittings in color and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Nrh". The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The multi-toned hardwood grip has a nice finish and looks great! There are the common pressure marks throughout but no chips or cracks. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 97% of its enamel. Great price!
