Here we have an early Hitler Youth dagger just for you! The blade on this one rates Exc. There are scuffs and surface scratches throughout, it has also been sharpened. The "Blut und Ehre!" motto can still be seen. The fit is nice and tight, the tip comes to a sharp point and ?CAM Solingen Ges Geschutzt? maker mark is beautifully executed! The buffer pad is a replacement made up by me. You would never know but as always if ever something has been fixed or modified I tell you. The black painted enamel scabbard has about 50% of its original paint still intact and it remains completely dent free! The brown scabbard leather remains in great shape! There is one wee hole to the back but all of the rivets remain intact and the snap works well! The nickel plated steel hilt has 97% of it's plating intact. The black celluloid checkered grip plates are tightly secured and in near perfect condition! Just a bit of dirt to the crevasses. The small early HJ diamond retains 100% of its enamel. A fairly priced early example!
