SA Dagger by RZM 7/69/38

Okay guys you can stop looking for the best SA on the page- you've found it! This was purchased from a friend a few weeks ago. Really an interesting piece. Erbe never made an early SA but they were issued an RZM license. The dagger has all the attributes of an early high quality maker marked dagger utilizing all nickel silver fittings and anodized scabbard. There is nothing early about this dagger except the maker mark. The blade on this one is a screamer it rates Mint-. No reason for excuses. Perfect fit, perfect tip, stunning crossgrain and a dark and perfectly executed maker mark and motto! If your guests don't say WOW!! when they see this blade, they don't know what their looking at! The outside of this dagger is in great shape as well! The brown anodized scabbard is flawless, it has perfect anodizing with that coppery look when you turn it just so in the light. It remains dent free and in great shape. There is a"1938 FB" scratched in the reverse as shown. Who, when or how is just a guess. The solid nickel fittings look awesome! All of the screws remain intact and the ball continues to retain its original shape. The scabbard/crossguard fit is perfect! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition! The brown lacquered hardwood grip looks nice and is chip and crack-free. There is light wear and the initials "FB" scratched to the reverse. All the angles and radii match the crossguards. The solid nickel eagle is nicely detailed and fits perfectly. The SA roundel is fine and continues to retain 100% of its enamel. Finally a SA you will never have to upgrade!!
