A great piece straight from the MAX! The bright blade on this one looks good. The crossgrain is awesome and runs the full length of the blade, the tip comes to a sharp point and the fit is tightly secured. The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. There is some age grey throughout and the tip is ever-so-slightly dulled. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, silver plated scabbard looks great! It has three spots of plating lifting but that's it. It remains completely dent free, with the random pebbling throughout and both throat retain screws remain intact! The zinc based, silver plated crossguard and pommel are both in great condition. Both have some wear plating throughout. The medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The brass pommel screw cap has some wear to as most of these do. The yellow trylon grip is in awesome condition! It remains completely crack and chip free! It has a wee wiggle to it. Overall this is a great piece and one you will be proud to own!
