Tagged Puma HJ Dagger
How many times have you seen a PUMA tag? First for me! The blade on this one looks excellent. The dark acid etched "Blut und Ehre!" motto and the diamond Puma head ?Solingen Gesftzl. Geschutzt? maker mark are both beautifully executed! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point. The crossgrain remains visible as you turn it in the light. The blade rates Exc+. It has been slightly sharpened and there are surface scratches throughout. The brown leather buffer pad remains loosely intact. The black painted enamel scabbard has about 85% of its original paint and it continues to remain completely dent free! The brown scabbard leather remains in excellent shape! It has all of its rivets intact and the button works well! The steel plated hilt is also in beautiful condition! The black celluloid checkered grip plates are tightly secured and in near perfect condition! The small early HJ diamond retains 100% of its enamel. To top this beauty off is a green steel PUMA tag! An excellent early tagged and mottoed example!
